1. Praise God that when we were in spiritual decay and darkness, He sent His Son, the true and better Judge, to save us.

2. Thank God for the mercy He has shown to our nation by continuing to raise up faithful leaders for local churches who preach the truth of God's Word.

3. Lament that our society and culture is flooded with idols. Pray that our Father in heaven would lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil.

4. Everything we do is in the sight of the Lord. Pray that knowing that God sees everything would keep us from sin.

5. So much of our nation has wholly forsaken the Lord. Pray for revival and a great turning to the Lord.

6. Pray that people in our nation would see that no other god apart from the Lord can save.

7. Pray for our repentance as a local church, that we would truly turn from the idols we are tempted to worship, and be ruthless in putting sin to death.

8. Thank God for the elders Jesus has given to this local church.
