1. Praise God for His faithfulness. He is the God who keeps His promises and the chapter gives 33 reasons why we can trust Him.

2. Pray that we would not forget God's past faithfulness to us; that remembering what God has done in the past for us would strengthen us with confidence for the future.

3. Give thanks that no enemies of God and His people will be able to prevent Him from keeping His promise and fulfilling His purposes.

4. Lament the damage sin causes to our world and to our lives. The good land which God gave to Adam and Eve, and to Israel, is no longer than delightful place because of human sin and the effects of the curse. Pray that our repentance would go deep.

5. Praise God that He will give us a wonderful home to be our inheritance, a glorious heavenly Promised Land. Praise God that nothing will spoil our enjoyment of this because He will judge and destroy all His enemies.

6. Pray for the Spirit's help to live in obedience to everything Jesus had commanded in response to His saving work on the cross and in light of His coming return to bring us home to heaven.

7. As God protected Israel in battle, thank Him for the confidence we can have that He will finished the good work that He has started in us and keep us in His love until our faith is perfected.
