i) Praise God that there is one who is able to save. Thank God for His Son, the Lord Jesus, our Saviour who makes us acceptable to God through His glorious righteousness and precious blood shed on the cross.
ii) Pray that we will have God in the rightful place in our lives, and that our hearts would not be swayed to the world and materialistic things. Pray that there would be no jealousy and envy among us.
iii) Pray for God’s help with our prayer life. Pray that we would be regularly drawing near to God and relying on Him to provide for our needs both spiritual and physical.
iv) Pray that we would be humble, regularly acknowledging our sins before God, and repenting of them. Ask God to give us a real assurance of His grace and mercy to us.
v) Pray that our prayers would align with God’s will and Word.
vi) Pray that we would at all times seek to build one another up with our words. Pray that God would remove from us any critical spirit we may have. Ask Him to help us see how precious His people are to Him.
vii) Pray that we would submit all our plans to the Lord, trusting in His good provision, and be content with whatever He gives to us.
