i) Praise God that He will judge the living and the dead; that we don’t need to fear this day because Christ has saved us from sin, death, and hell, and has given to us His righteousness.
ii) Thank God that the gospel has been preserved by faithful preachers who preached the Word, in season and out of season.
iii) Pray for those who preach the Word to us that they would correct, rebuke, and encourage with great patience and teaching.
iv) Pray that we would be delighted to hear the gospel, about Christ in all the Scriptures, and the truths found in the Word. Pray that we would not have itching ears that only want to hear what we want to hear.
v) Pray that we would be active in sharing our faith and be willing to endure hardship in doing so.
vi) Pray for God to preserve us in the faith so that we persevere to the end.
vii) Thank God that Jesus will return. Pray that we would long for the day of His appearing, and the joy of being with Him forever.
