i) Thank God for His sovereignty - that He knows in advance how the world is going to be; that nothing is a surprise to Him; that He knows about the last days. Thank God for His kindness in revealing what they will be like so that we know what to expect.
ii) Praise God that the last days will come to an end - that these hard times will one day be over when Jesus returns. Pray that we would look forward to Christ's coming, that it would come quickly, and that we would live in anticipation of it.
iii) Pray that our love would be set on the Lord not on self, money, pleasure or others things.
iv) Pray for forgiveness for the times we give into temptation and commit the sins of the world. Praise God for the salvation that is our through faith in Jesus and that He is quick to forgive when we confess our failings to Him.
v) Pray for the victims of abuse by ungodly people masquerading in churches - that they would find healing and hope in Christ.
vi) Pray that the Lord would protect His church against leaders who have outward appearances of godliness, but who are actually seeking to prey on the vulnerable. Pray that in protecting the church from them, the Lord would bring conversion to them.
vii) Thank God that when Jesus returns true justice will take place - that those who get away with committing terrible abuse in this life won't on the day of judgment.
