i) Praise God that the curse of sin has been overcome and all who trust in Christ will be saved.
ii) Pray that prayer would remain central in church life. Thank God for the regular prayer meetings and the opportunity they provide to express our dependence upon Him.
iii) Pray that we would act in a manner that is consistent with our profession and that we would not bring the world into the church.
iv) Pray that we would submit to God's wisdom about how a local church should be structured at a time when this teaching is unpopular in the world and in many parts of the church.
v) Thank God for the provision of men who can lead and preach to serve as elders.
vi) Pray that we would value women and their service, seeing it as essential to the health of the church. Pray that this church would be a place where women grow and flourish in their faith and are encouraged to use their gifts in a variety of ways.
vii) Pray that we would not be deceived by error but hold fast to the truth found in God's Word.
