Numbers 34

v1-15: God sets the boundaries for Canaan, so that Israel “might know what land they could expect to possess.” He “did not want his people to extend their desire for worldly possessions, but to know when they had enough and to be satisfied with that.” If “God sets boundaries to our possessions,” we should “set boundaries to our desires… and live accordingly.”

v16-29: Victory and success was so certain because God would fight for them, that the people who would be entrusted with dividing up the land are named as Eleazar and Joshua. “They were types of Christ, who are priest and king gives the heavenly Canaan to the spiritual Israel.”
