Mark 5

v1-20: “Demons wage war against God and His glory, Christ and His gospel, people and their holiness and happiness.”  There are many of them who rise up against us engaged in the same evil cause.  In our own strength, we are no match for them, but strengthened by the Lord and by the power of His might, we are able to stand against these spiritual enemies of ours.

v21-34: "Just as secret acts of sin are known to the Lord Jesus, so he also sees secret acts of faith, and they are under his eye."

v35-43: Those who by nature are dead in their transgressions and sins, are no more able to rise in their own strength, than this child could.  But when Christ commands those who are spiritually dead to rise, spiritual life is given so that they can.  "Christ works while he commands, and he works according to the command."
