Mark 4

v1-20: Light and sight needs to be given by Jesus Christ if anyone is to know the mystery of the kingdom of heaven.  We need Jesus to both open the Scriptures to us and open our understanding of it.  "The fact that there are very many things that we need to know should motivate us both to prayer and to hard work, so that we may increase in knowledge."

v21-25: Those who have received the gospel, have received it not only for themselves, but for the good to others and in order to share it with them.

V26-34: "The Gospel kingdom in the world will increase and spread to the most distant nations on earth and will continue to the final ages of time."

v35-41: "When Christ seems as if he is asleep in a storm, he is woken up by the prayers of his people.”  So, when you do not know what to do, turn your eyes upon Jesus, and thank God that you have a Saviour to turn to.
