Judges 15

v1-8: The very thing that Samson’s wife feared, and had sought by sin to avoid, came on her. “This shows us that the trouble we may try to escape from by following unlawful practices will often come back on our own heads.” It is better to suffer for doing what is right, than to try and avoid suffering by doing what is wrong.

v9-17: Ingratitude is often shown to those who have done great good. Don’t be surprise if that happens to you, because the one you follow, the “Lord Jesus did many good works, and they were ready to stone him for them.”

v18-20: “Those who forget to come to God with their praises may perhaps be forced to come to him with their prayers. Suffering is sometimes sent to bring unthankful people to God.”
