James 3:9-12

v9-10: “How absurd it is that those who use their tongues in prayer and praise should also use them in cursing, slandering, and the like!” Is this something which you do? Examine your speech. Do you speak well of the Lord but not of those “who are made in his likeness”?

v11-12: “If people were consistent within themselves, how many sins would this prevent and reclaim people from!” Pray for consistency in your life. Pray that your speech would not contradict your faith.
