2 Thessalonians 3:11-13

v11: If we are idle, Satan and our corrupt hearts will happily find us something to do. “Often those people who have no business of their own to do, or who neglect it, busy themselves in other people’s lives… interfering with matters that do not concern them and troubling themselves and others with other people’s affairs.”

v12: “There must be work or labour, as opposed to idleness, and there must be quietness, as opposed to being busybodies in other people’s lives.”  To be “active in our own business but quiet as to other people’s” is what Christ commands us to be.

v13: Persevere in what you do that is good.  "Hold on, and hold out to the end. You must never give up or become tired in your work.”
