1 Corinthians 8
v1-3: "It is one thing to know truth, and another to know it as we should, so as to apply it properly."
v4-6: Idols are imaginary gods which "have no power to pollute what God has created."
v7-13: If we love our brothers and sisters in Christ, we will make sure that we consider their interests and seek to live in a way that will built them up. They are those for whom Christ died and who He has redeemed by His precious blood, and so they should be precious to us. Sometimes this will mean put aside our freedom to do something permissible if it causes them harm or to stumble in their faith.
