Faithful God, We come before you confessing our sins and failures, and acknowledging our need of your grace. We are a forgetful people, failing to remember your deliverance and neglecting to thank you for your daily mercies. We are a complaining people, grumbling at your provision and longing for easier paths rather than trusting your wisdom. We are an unbelieving people, shrinking back from obedience and allowing fear to rule where faith should dwell. Have mercy on us. Forgive us where we have failed you. For the sake of Jesus Christ, pardon our sin and renew us by your Spirit. Make us a faithful people who follow your leading and trust you in every step of our journey. Amen.
